Street Photography - Turning reality into poetry
This was probably the first time I ever did street photography. I can't exactly remember how I got to those places, but I do remember walking around Singapore like a wide-eyed tourist. I was a tourist!
I honestly had no clue what I was doing, except getting lost on foot while I figured out my heavy DSLR camera. I remember feeling nervous standing in front of those people playing board games with a DSLR hanging around my neck. I wasn't sure if I should approach them and ask. I was afraid I would be yelled at for disturbing their game; they were loud and seemed to be enjoying it. Since when was a board game played out loud?
In the end, I pretended to watch a game I didn't understand, walked around them, stood closer, composed, and took my candid shots.
